What’s with the frogs?
Okay, so there are a lot of pictures of frogs on this site. Honestly, once I designed the logo I couldn’t stop myself. It’s kind of like when a friend notices you have a duck on your desk and from then on all the gifts you ever get from them are duck themed.
One of my favorite TV shows is called Fantasy High. It’s a tabletop role-playing show they play Dungeons & Dragons in a world that resembles a high school in a small American town (but with dragons).
The character Adaine, an elf and a wizard in training, has an emotional support familiar frog named Boggy. (It makes sense, trust me.) Aside from being adorable, Boggy gives Adaine the Help action giving her advantage. This advantage is often the difference between Adaine succeeding or failing as she goes about going to high school and saving the world.
I love the idea that this frog, though small, has such a built impact in the story. It ties in with how I like to approach challenges the seem insurmountable. Small changes that have a big impact.
